Student visa for study in Australia.
Common question about student visa requirements for Australia, how to apply etc?
How to get visa to Australia, after acceptance?

Even if you have scored well in IELTS, TOEFL and have got offer letter from a good university, you should
carefully evaluate the visa requirements. Many times student visas are rejected for lack of supporting
documents. Here is a general guide line on how to apply for visa?

If your application for study is accepted, university will send you offer letter (offering you place at the University)
and detailing the first fee payment due. When you return your acceptance of the offer and make the first
payment to the University, an electronic Confirmation of Enrollment (eCeO) is sent to the Australian diplomatic
mission (embassy, consulate etc) that you have nominated in your application form. {You should check with the
Australian Embassy in your country to see if you are eligible to apply for a student visa before obtaining official
confirmation of your enrolment and paying tuition fees}. Also a paper copy of this electronic Confirmation of
Enrollment is sent to you. You then submit your copy of the eCeO to the nominated diplomatic mission when
applying for student visa.

When applying for student visa, keep in mind that Australian government would like to:
  1. See evidence of enrolment in a full time course registered in CRICOS
  2. Your intension to comply with visa conditions and leave Australia at the end of studies.
  3. See you are a genuine student. Your educational background, employment history, and relevance of
proposed study in that background are important factor in establishing you as a genuine student.
  4. See if you have been to Australia before and for what? Have you previously applied for entry to Australia?
  5. Check consistency of information provided.
  6. Your knowledge in English.
  7. Financial resources to support yourself.
  8. You have Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) medical insurance.
  9. Your age: Chances are higher if you are over 16 years but under 35 years of age.
